Snow and the Convertible

Another 10″-12″ of snow yesterday – driving home was a careful experience, especially after someone I know had an accident on nearby roads … but home safe, and this morning was one of those really nice after-storm days, with clear skies and sun, and no nasty north wind!

The snow was light and easy to clear – and a very nice neighbour had plowed the front of our driveway, making the job much easier … and it turns out that clearing the Convertible is easy too! The cloth roof means no need to be super careful about not scratching the paint!

It’s still snowing

Throughout this winter we’ve had regular snow, a few inches here, a few more there … each storm isn’t too much trouble; this latest one yesterday left us with 10″-12″ of light snow to clear today before breakfast!

The clear skies and warm sun – and no evil wind blowing – made snow clearing quite pleasant! Enough that this afternoon we strolled up to the reservoir to see how full it was; it was surprisingly still very empty!

Eclipse

Tonight a full eclipse of the moon is going on – where the Earth blocks the suns light from hitting the moon for a while (the moon turns reddish from light bending through the Earths atmosphere); I took a couple of pictures, but it’s hard to do without a good tripod setup …
