Shipping MINI circuits

Back when I first got a MINI, I found it annoying that when pulling away after paying tolls, I had to hold the window-close switch, while also shifting gears – why didn’t the MINI have auto-up-windows?!
So, I did something about it and using my software & hardware experience, created a circuit to auto-close the windows on demand. Other MINI owners also found it annoying and wanted a circuit too, and over a few years I sold 1,500 circuits!
But it took too much time, and so I stopped making them – at least until I was persuaded to do another batch by “desparate” MINI owners. And just recently, I again was persuaded to offer another batch of circuits, which just became available … lots of MINI owners will soon be happy, when all these circuits get to the post office tonight:

With the few I shipped yesterday, and all those above, that’s 50 circuits shipped out already (nearly half the batch!)

School bus

If I live for work a little too early in the morning, I meet the school bus … and in America, you must stop for the school bus, in both road directions! Today was OK, because the bus had already been up route 133 from Gloucester to Essex, and was now coming back, so only a short wait; much longer delays result when I meet the bus still going up the road, because it (and me and all the other cars) stop after few hundred yards to let more children get on.
Not complaining – there’s no sidewalks in much of America and the bus is a safe way for them to travel! I just have to remember not to go to work too early 😉
