Bridget keeps warm

She’s spends almost all her time now in this heated bed in our bedroom (where we keep the heat on constant 70 for her, day and night).

She continues to be snuffly and sneezy, and eats only a tiny amount of food each day – but she still seems comfortable, and heads upstairs sometimes to see if there’s any sunshine to enjoy; we can’t really do more than we are doing for her …

The Lion roared!

They got this snow storm pretty well correct (which I guess they should, predicting yesterday when the storm was already active further south!); at 7am there was light snow falling and not much on the ground – but it kept on falling:

By about 11am, I went out to take some pictures and measurements (the ruler here shows 9″). We had to exit via the back, and clear the snow before we could open the front! Lots of back breaking work needed to dig out the cars – and right now, it’s snowing once again (they say another inch or two is coming!)

More like “doors closed, engine off, staying indoors” actually … Winter returned with a vengeance today, dumping snow all up the East Coast from as far down as Georgia(!), to Maine. Here in Gloucester, we got 8″-9″, hard to tell because it came with hefty winds that did some drifting …

And guess what – it’s just started snowing again! They say another inch or so is coming 😦
