We visited the town of Battle today, where the Battle Of Hastings was fought almost 1000 years ago – an abbey was built there afterwards and remains are still there. Very interesting!

In Battle today, we saw this second Countryman … the owner says he was one of the first buyers in England!

Highcliffe Castle and Christchurch Beach

Today was warm – up to 5c (40f)! A nice Sunny day, perfect for a trip to the Beach and a nearby Castle – so long as you wear thick coats!

And in the distance across the Solent, the Needles on the Isle Of Wight!
