Day 0 … North to Georgia
No need to drive all the way to Cherokee, NC today – so we covered 536 miles, got past Atlanta (with it’s nasty rush-hour traffic) and stopped for the night “in sight” of tomorrow’s more mountainous destinations, at a place called Dahlonega in Georgia.
Packed and ready to roll …
GPMINI is loaded up with two cases of clothes (one not so big!), camera, computer, Margaret and me … we have 650 miles to drive to get to the start of the Blue Ridge Parkway Tour, and 1-1/2 days; easy 🙂
