I’ve flown out for a short weekend joining this years MINI Takes The States, sharing a weekend drive with George from his new home in Phoenix, to Los Angeles. This morning, I’m at his home today (which is a little lacking in the furniture department, right now!)

Outside, it’s HOT; as soon as the Sun came up this morning, I had to dive back in to air conditioning; but I did first get this picture of one of many impressive Saguaro in the area:

Finally decided that, even without a MINI, I just can’t miss all of a MINI Takes The States event – so with much thanks to my great friend George, I’ll be joining the end of the trip, Phoenix to Los Angeles …
