Magic Kingdom with family

My sister and her husband are visiting from England and we’ve been hitting the Disney parks quite a lot! We’ve visited Magic Kingdom twice so far, in the day to do some rides and last night in the evening to watch the spectacular projection/fireworks show. Here’s a pile of photos!

A return to Magic Kingdom

Our first visit to Magic Kindom since September 2019, which was a good and quiet day thanks to hurricane threats – this latest visit was busier but perhaps not as busy as it might be due to the Super Bowl! We got rides at Buzz Lightyear (twice!), Under the Sea – Journey of The Little Mermaid, Haunted Mansion, Winnie The Pooh, Pirates Of The Caribbean, as well as It’s A Small World, Carousel Of Progress and the TTA. We didn’t pay for lightning lanes and our longest single queue was about 45 minutes for Haunted Mansion.

Finding Nemo V2

The first time I’ve visited Disney Animal Kingdom since Covid, and of course I returned to the wonderful “Finding Nemo” show – and there’s been a lot of change to it! The stage background is now a projection that sets the location, so there’s no more for example bringing in the fishtank prop (the seagull Nigel is completely gone too!), but overall the show was still excellent and almost all the favorite characters are still performing …
