Once again, the best way to enjoy Animal Kingdom is to join their Wild Africa Trek – we took Michael today, for his last day at Disney!

We welcomed the new year today with close to 12 hours at Disney, first at Epcot then over to Magic Kingdom! We took Michael, too – who also likes NEMO:

At Epcot, we skipped World Showcase, but enjoyed the NEMO ride as well as Soarin’, Spaceship Earth and some others … over at Magic Kingdom, we visited It’s a Small World, Haunted Mansion, Buzz Lightyear, and finished the day with Disney’s Electrical Parade, and Wishes fireworks …

Christmas by the pool

It’s another sunny and warm day! So a photo opportunity for presents by the pool – they include lovely Wimbledon towels from Kate & Chris, reminders of our summer trip for the Olympics; “day-of-week” socks from Dad & Valerie to help me remember(!); the complete BBC Olympics Blu-ray set from us to us, and a super “Owlquin” cushion from Pat – it’s really a Penguin, but when I first saw it, I thought it was an Owl (apparently the big eyes win over the obvious black & white coloring!)
