Actually, it did snow in Gloucester more than a month ago, but we were in Vermont so I did not count it!

Gloucesters Annual Fish Box Derby

Once a year, Gloucester closes a section of Rogers Street and stages a downhill race for kids in “fish box” cars; in the months prior there must be many hours of preparation work, because some of these cars are completely home made, beautifully decorated … “it’s not the winning, it’s the taking part” (though I’m not sure the non-winning kids agree!)
