It’s July 4 so no work; normally it’s parades, outdoor bbq, and lots of sun – but we had lots of rain overnight and it’s all wet instead. Some nice pictures still though:
From Glen Cove Mansion we drove down to George & Jayne this morning, planning to head with them to The Big Duck, but an unexpected event occurred first – George was selling one of his three GPs! We also got to peak at his third GP, the one that has never been driven and stays safe in an “air cocoon”! His third GP is at his other home in Arizona …
At the coast, George & Margaret tried the water, and we got a nice picture of Margaret & me:
Then back to George & Jayne’s house, for a wonderful BBQ:

We’ve traveled down to Long Island (near New York City) for the weekend, staying in Glen Cove Mansion – it’s an impressive building, styled like old English manors, but built only 100 years ago and now converted to a conference center with attached hotel (so you don’t stay in the mansion, but you can tour it!)
