We’ve seen the top of the big rock in Goose Cove Reservoir lots of times, and sometimes even lower down – but today with Margaret we walked to the rock, so I was able to take a picture of the rock with Margaret, to give an idea of it’s size!
As you can see, Margaret (and the Babson Boulder “29”) are below the water line when the reservoir is full …
Just a few weeks ago we began our Coast-To-Coast drive visiting the Pacific Ocean in Malibu, CA; and today we completed that trip by visiting the Atlantic Ocean at Cocoa Beach, FL … pictures of course!
We totalled 4,800 miles on our drive … Cheers!
We went to Celebration for breakfast this morning and I didn’t take my “big” camera – but they say the best camera is what you have with you, so I had my iPhone (though I dispute that it is “best” for taking pictures!). Anyway, here’s a few pictures …

It seems to be the rainy season here in Florida, and there were mushrooms everywhere!

Finally, this huge “grasshopper” (at least 3″ long (after this pic, it turned round and “posed” for me, but this pic is better!):
We also saw Otters – but too far away and too dark for the iPhone to have any chance … we just watched them.
