Finally, it’s time to head south again on this Jetblue flight – just in time too, as the hot sunny weather “up north” is changing to cooler, and it rained hard today!
Florida will be dry and high 80s every day while we are away 🙂
Tree removal
There’s always been a conifer in the back garden, just to the left of the house:
But since the addition (maybe before), it’s got more and more sick looking, till we finally decided we should have it looked at – and taken down, as the tree surgeon said it was fungus infested. So today, the cutting happened!
We also had them trim the overhanging branches above the driveway – it’ll help keep the cars cleaner!
Chloe in the dirt
Chloe can’t quite decide if today’s fabulous weather (Sunny, in the 70s) is good or not – it seems she was too hot till later in the day when it got shady; but once we were out in the garden, she joined us and seemed happy to be hiding and watching the Robins hunting for worms in the grass – but when I went over to take the picture, she was pleased to have attention, and switched from the birds to rolling in the dirt, and chasing who-knows-what in the plants!
