Construction at Cogswell

A while ago I posted when Letizia & Roberto began construction on their new house, being built behind their current home … now nearly two months later, all the footings & foundations have been poured, and construction has recently begun on the framing. So far, only the basement is being framed – with 12′ high walls before the floor of the first floor, and then a second floor on top of that, it’ll be HUGE when finished!

The view from the back of the new house will be good:

Mouser Chloe

Chloe has a new skill, and she’s improving at it … this morning she brought back a second (dead) Vole, definitely a gift for us but also a good toy for her!

Margaret says that after I’d gone to work, she brought home another animal – still alive! She had huge fun chasing it around the bedroom (much to Margaret’s disappointment).

42nd Street

Driving home on Saturday, I accidentally ended up driving the edge of New York City alongside the Hudson river – at one point I saw and took this picture of an Aircraft carrier with planes onboard, a museum exhibit … later noticed it was right at the 42nd Street sign (and much later too noticed the “mystery man”!)
