The JLG boom vehicle I was working on earlier this year headed “home” today after some final tests recently when a JLG Engineer visited. Here’s the machine loaded on to a truck, ready to head back to Pennsylvania:
Sticky buns
One highlight of staying at Captain Lord Mansion is their excellent breakfasts – and Sunday is best of all, with delicious sticky buns:
There is also some more healthy choices, like fruit, yoghurt, etc …
Damariscotta
Today we headed a little further north in Maine, to just past Newcastle where we knew there is a pub with EXCELLENT food – King Eider’s Pub. I had Steak and Ale pie, and Margaret had real (ie: English style) sausages.
After lunch, we toured the area, finding water including this beach near Pine Point (cold winds off the water though – high below 40 today!):
And tonight, back at Captain Lord Mansion, we’re in a different room – the Excelsior (makes yesterdays bed seem small!) …
