England trip: Newcastle

Still my favourite place in England – Margaret lived there through University and after, from 1981 to 1996. While I only lived there from 1990, I still loved it more than other places I’ve lived. There’s so much to do, so much history, yet within a short distance you’re out in open countryside! Here’s some pics:

England trip: Norwich

As well as attending my Grandads funeral and seeing family in London, we also visited Norwich (where Margarets parents live) and Newcastle (where our friends still live, and many of our favourite English places!) … Here’s some pictures from the Norwich part of our trip (where we stayed, the Waffle House restaurant, Margaret’s parents, flint walls):

Flowers for Grandad

We’re back from our trip to England where we attended my Grandads funeral as well as seeing our families and friends … some wonderful flowers from my Nan, Mum and Aunt Sheila & Uncle Keith, given for Grandads funeral in Beckenham last Monday:

To our beloved Husband and Father, with our gratitude for everything. We miss you but have so many happy memories. With all our love …
