A beautifully sunny day today! We headed out with the top down in Margarets convertible and ended up at Harold Parker State Forest; it turned out today was a special day, with “Trails & Sails” providing a guided tour through part of the forest. Very prettty area, with lots of trees (a few showing fall colors) and a man made lake – and lots of photos of fungi growing in the forest:

Gloucester Lobsters
This evening we went to Gloucester City Hall to see the painted Lobster Sculptures – part of a fund raising event for Pathways For Children; more than 30 identical lobster models, about five feet high, have been painted by various local artists and dignitaries and will be auctioned later to raise money – in the meantime, a visit to the city hall allows you to see them all!
