After enjoying the Caribbean for a week, we were dramatically re-introduced to New England winters with another snow storm, delivering 6″ or more. The roads were plowed, but because of rain preceding the snow the roads were very slippery – I nearly hit a wall when trying to drive to work, so gave up and waited for the next day!

And next day, the roads are clear and lined by beautiful white trees; at work these Robins have found a few left-over apples on a tree outside Christian’s office, but there’s not much food when the ground is covered in snow and ice!

It snowed again! Another 6″ or so of snow, on top of Thursdays storm which had no chance to melt yet:

If it keeps doing this, the pond will be buried, the old garden bench is already almost gone!
