Driving the Blue Ridge Parkway (Day 3)
Today we completed the end of the Blue Ridge Parkway, with 35 MINIs in a tight group, blessed by great weather and little traffic (just a couple of refuse-to-pull-over vehicles near the end of the drive!); many thanks to Margaret for taking pics again 🙂
And then, it was the end of the Blue Ridge Parkway … or maybe, the beginning!

The Roanoke Star
After dinner, we were led up a nearby mountain (hill?) to a view looking down over Roanoke, also the location of the Roanoke Star:
Sadly, the Star did not turn on – at least not while we (and many other people) waited …
