Had a report from Al on Cape Cod that he can’t see any of the pics in recent posts (just “red X” boxes) … I am assuming this is an isolated issue with his setup, because I see everything fine at work & home.

But just to check – is anyone else having issues seeing the posts / pics here?

Each Wednesday through the summer, there is a car show behind the Liberty Tree Mall – exhibitors donate an entry fee to benefit D.A.R.E.
Mostly classic American cars attend, other cars too – here’s some pictures:

I asked about MINIs and they are “sort of allowed” – especially if we brought a convertible. Maybe a destination for a “MINI gathering”?

With recent trips to Montreal and MINIsOnTop, I have seen MPG averaging close to 30 – GBMINI loves long runs at sensible highway speeds:

Conversely I get my worst MPG in cold weather when the engine takes ages to warm up and I drive just the short (11 miles) distance to work.
I also expect MPG to drop 10% if the JCW upgrade gets installed (if it is ever released/approved for the auto transmission!)

Overall, my good MPGs on GBMINI#3 are within 5% of the best on GBMINI#2, before that car got the JCW upgrade.
The auto transmission clearly does not hurt fuel economy very much – driving style has a much worse effect!
