Intermission … Recover well, Keith!

I was planning to post pics from Montreal – the Peel Street MINI line-up and the F1 GP, but I learned this evening that my friend Keith, a MINI Sales Advisor at MINI Peabody and (ex)MINI owner, is seriously injured.

Sadly, I don’t know many details – he is in intensive care in a Boston hospital; he has broken a vertebra but is not believed to be paralysed.
From what I have heard, the accident might have occurred while diving from a boat on Sunday afternoon/evening.

My thoughts are with you Keith – I hope you recover fully and well.

F1 GP: The Main Event!

Watching Formula One at the track is nothing like watching it on TV; the sound is incredible – you can’t hear the person next to you unless they shout in your ear (and we were not close to the track). But you can’t really follow the race either because you only see a small part, and it is hard to identify the cars as they flash past. The first thing we did when we got home Monday was watch the Tivo’ed race!

Some pics from the last lap – already the Renaults are well ahead of the front-of-grid cars; and the eventual winner:
