After posting pics from last weekends Burning MINIs, Juan (who always has fabulous pics on his Blu Iguana website) commented on this pic, suggesting that I enter it into the NAM monthly photo contest.
Thanks, Juan!
Hopefully we will soon see lots of info on MotoringFile, since Gabe rode the ride recently … meanwhile, you can see the press pics in the Gallery (I like the red one!):
MINIsOnTop fast approaches, with more than 200 registered MINIs and nearly 500 people attending!
Many MINI affiliates generously donate prizes for the event – some used as door prizes for attendees, and some raffled to raise money for charity (this years charity is the Kennedy-Donovan Center in Massachusetts).
The major donation is a two year lease of a MINI Cooper from Herb Chambers, being raffled ($50 per ticket – contact Steve if you want a ticket).
Other donations include items from Bentley Publishing, Prestige MINI, Helix Motorsports, OutMotoring, Bavarian Autosport, Towne MINI, and Steve announced today that MINI Peabody will be donating a MINI roof box.
As well as the above business donations, there are a number of personal donations; check the MINI2 door prizes thread for full details.
And remember – registration is closed; if you missed it, make sure to sign up early for MINIsOnTop 2006!
