Say hello to “Bruiser”

I recently posted GBMINIs first birthday; one of the comments I received was from Angie; her MINI is called Bruiser and was “born” on the same day – February 14, 2003. What is more, her car is also Indi Blue. Angie is signed on to the MINI USA owners lounge which I rarely visit (too much time spent on MINI2, but a visit there showed an amazing set of pictures including high speed Bruiser, and this fabulous poster:

Angie says a poster I designed featuring my MINI for the Tulsa Advertising Federation ADDY Awards. We gave away an ‘04 CR/CR as part of our scholarship fundraising efforts:

GBMINI gets alarmed!

GBMINI has been at MINI Peabody for a couple of days – the primary task was to install the factory alarm (a little more paranoid with the recent John Cooper Works upgrade. The only visible difference is the red tip on the end of the wiper control:

It is apparently controlled by the normal remote open/close – there is no instructions!?

Today I received my custom “skinny spare tire travel bag” from Robyn (“jerseygirl” on MINI2 and NorthAmericanMotoring):

At the moment it is on the back seat, since the “saddlebag” add-on I have in the trunk has reduced the height there so that the tire will not fit. I guess the saddlebag might need to come out!
