Epcot with family

We first went to Epcot last weekend, but it was REALLY wet and cool and so we headed home again after doing Spaceship Earth and the very extreme Guardians Of The Galaxy ride (which Margaret & I will definitely not be doing again!) …

We returned a few days later in much nicer weather, to walk around World Showcase and enjoy chinese food at Nine Dragons (we also did the Nemo ride, that had no line other than the time taken to walk to the front!) …

We probably need to visit once more, to see the Epcot fireworks …

Magic Kingdom with family

My sister and her husband are visiting from England and we’ve been hitting the Disney parks quite a lot! We’ve visited Magic Kingdom twice so far, in the day to do some rides and last night in the evening to watch the spectacular projection/fireworks show. Here’s a pile of photos!

Angie & Iain wanted to do Space Mountain; Margaret & I did Buzz Lightyear; we then did Thunder Mountain, the Tiki Room (which is back to its original style!), Pirates Of The Caribbean, and then watched the parade; finally we met Mickey Mouse before leaving …

A return to Magic Kingdom

Our first visit to Magic Kindom since September 2019, which was a good and quiet day thanks to hurricane threats – this latest visit was busier but perhaps not as busy as it might be due to the Super Bowl! We got rides at Buzz Lightyear (twice!), Under the Sea – Journey of The Little Mermaid, Haunted Mansion, Winnie The Pooh, Pirates Of The Caribbean, as well as It’s A Small World, Carousel Of Progress and the TTA. We didn’t pay for lightning lanes and our longest single queue was about 45 minutes for Haunted Mansion.

Here’s a selection of photos from our day …

We stayed through to the 8pm fireworks, which were spectacular of course (and crowded of course!):

I did some video of the fireworks, too:
