Today was warm – up to 5c (40f)! A nice Sunny day, perfect for a trip to the Beach and a nearby Castle – so long as you wear thick coats!
And in the distance across the Solent, the Needles on the Isle Of Wight!
A lovely part of England, even in the cooler weather – though the forest is not very noticeable; on the other hand it makes it easier to spot Horses, Ponies, Cows, Pigs, Deer …
We are staying near to the New Forest, at Sandy Balls; quite different to a normal hotel and with cold but beautiful views:
Visiting Bath today was freezing cold, not made easier by having to park a half hours walk away – all the closer parking was jammed full! But Bath was still beautiful …
