England trip: Newcastle

Still my favourite place in England – Margaret lived there through University and after, from 1981 to 1996. While I only lived there from 1990, I still loved it more than other places I’ve lived. There’s so much to do, so much history, yet within a short distance you’re out in open countryside! Here’s some pics:

England trip: Norwich

As well as attending my Grandads funeral and seeing family in London, we also visited Norwich (where Margarets parents live) and Newcastle (where our friends still live, and many of our favourite English places!) … Here’s some pictures from the Norwich part of our trip (where we stayed, the Waffle House restaurant, Margaret’s parents, flint walls):

England – Margarets parents 50th wedding anniversary

Back late last night from a trip to England to join in with the celebrations of Margarets parents 50th wedding anniversary! The trip was fun; although we were only away a week, as well as seeing all Margarets family we visited my grandparents and saw my Dad (went with him to visit John Cooper Works too!).
