A long days drive
From Cape Charles, we crossed Chesapeake Bay on the impressive bridge / tunnel, having breakfast on the bridge near the Southern end!
Then we continued South through Virginia, into North Carolina and eventually South Carolina, stopping for a quick lunch somewhere on the way …
Traffic was almost all light and easy, and I’m surprised to find that we covered almost 500 miles to get to Charleston tonight! I feel it’s ok to be tired now!
Not yet halfway
