Lake Louisa State Park

This afternoon we took a short trip to nearby Lake Louisa State Park, peaceful and full of trees and wildlife! There’s a few areas in the park, and multiple lakes; natures trails, forested scrubland; we even saw three wild deer – too far to photograph, but clear and not much bothered by us. But the Gopher Tortoise was close enough:

At Lake Louisa, we walked on the sandy “beach” and in the water, which was a very red/brown color …

I also took some video of the Gopher Tortoise, who was quite keen to get away from us:

A day at Magic Kingdom

We gambled with the weather today, and won! Overcast turned to sunny and warm, and the predicted rain still has not arrived … what’s more, Magic Kingdom was finally less busy, with shorter queues and less crowds; a good park day, captured in this video:

After arriving and parking surprisingly close to the entrance, we had lunch at the Polynesian resort, then took the boat to the park, and visited Pirates of the Caribbean, Country Bear Jamboree, Haunted Mansion, It’s a Small World, Winnie The Pooh, and the new Ariel Under Sea ride – then left the park via an ice cream stop, and monorail back to parking!

Another Wild Africa Trek

Once again, the best way to enjoy Animal Kingdom is to join their Wild Africa Trek – we took Michael today, for his last day at Disney!

Finally, there were two Elephants “fighting” for hierarchy – distant so less than perfect video:
