At least a month early, there’s blossom appearing on trees at work, and the Honeysuckle at home!
Spring is coming at English time instead of the normal late New England time … it’s definitely not winter any more!

All of winter 2011/12, Gloucester has seen just about zero snow, but the weekend I pop back for work, we get at least 2″ to “welcome” me …
No ice on the pond, and no ice on Goose Cove reservoir either – just snow on the rocks!
The weather we’ve missed
Winter “up North” this year has been mild, but yesterday’s half hearted winter storm gives us this graphic from Fox 25:
We’re still happy to be enjoying the summer-like weather down in Florida, but it seems a bit of a cheat that there’s been under 10″ of snow to be missed (and I think Gloucester might have got even less than that!)
