Today I met MINI friends for (late!) breakfast at Boma, then headed with Margaret to Disney Animal Kingdom where we took a safari ride and later watched the Finding Nemo show … a video today rather than photos :
5,000 fun miles of X3 driving
Working from home (no commute) I don’t drive many miles, but I’ve still managed to reach 5,000 in less than a year of owning my X3 M40i – and those miles have been lots of fun; my car still amazes me when I ask it to accelerate on the highway and the speed jumps from 70 to … lots more … for overtaking 🙂
Driving home from Rainbow Springs State Park today, it looked like I’d reach 5,000 about when we got home – and indeed, the odometer “clicked” over as we pulled into the garage …
Kayaking at Rainbow Springs State Park
Margaret and I went kayaking again today, with friends, and much further away than our last kayaking; a beautiful clear spring water location although we discovered that heading back, against the flow, was quite a challenge! Still, here’s a lot of photos of the beauty there …
The history of Rainbow Springs is a(nother) story  of tourist money heading to Walt Disney World, but some remains of the long gone attraction include still flowing man made waterfalls, which we walked around:
