Thanks to Joel at MINI Peabody, we had free entry to the New England Auto Show today (after enjoying lunch at the Top Of The Hub).
There were very few (if any) concept or special cars, although the Dodge stand had a minivan with the whole side on hinges (sliding door and rear wheel arch right back to the end of the car) – presumably to more easily show the inside folding seats, rather than as a future product.
The MINI stand was busy with many people checking out the convertibles and other MINIs; there was a JCW equipped ’05 on display too, including the JCW 18″ wheels and JCW suspension.
I picked up a few of the tiny MINI booklets that pull out to reveal lots of MINI info on a long thin sheet – the ’05 ones are updated to include the convertible and reflect the increased power of the ’05 MCS:
