Back to Las Vegas – The Wynn

We’re flying home tomorrow, so tonight we’re back in Las Vegas; we decided to try a hotel we’d never stayed at before, the Wynn (created by Steve Wynn who also created the Bellagio). We’d been told that the Wynn rooms are better than those at the Bellagio and we thought we’d compare … but when we arrived, we were offered a “can’t refuse” chance to upgrade to a suite on the 56th floor! So yes it’s a FABULOUS room, but it’s hardly fair now to compare to the Bellagio.

The Wynn suite is very nice and big with separate living area, huge bathroom, and because it’s a suite it includes such niceties as free Internet, complimentary spa access, bath robes and slippers, and a separate “VIP” pool area!

Later … here’s the night view from our Wynn room (hard to avoid reflections though):

  1. Wow! What a room! So…has the Wynn unseated the Belagio as the preferred hotel? Glad you two had a wonderful visit.

  2. Theo,
I still prefer the view at the Bellagio – and this Wynn room is surprisingly noisy with train horns, police / fire sirens, motorbike revving, all coming in through the window.
The Wynn is nice, but I’ll be back to the Bellagio!
