Midwest 2022: Devil’s Tower

Another big highlight of the trip (of course we watched Close Encounters before flying out here); this “mountain” is just as spectacular as the images show, and it’s wonderful to walk around it and see all the different angles and shapes! Our first view is about ten miles away – and we walk to within maybe 100ft!

(I should have shaped my ice-cream to match the tower!)
