This years Christmas Golf Cart parade was ended almost before it began due to a dangerous driver, but a number of carts stayed and did their own mini parade, looping round multiple times to keep the spectators entertained! We’d gone to watch, and captured some good video even in the shortened event:
Halloween 2021
We didn’t do much this Halloween, with COVID still hanging around! We did walk around downtown but it was very busy so no photos … we also watched the Winter Garden City Hall projection for a while, and here’s a little of it:
Winter Garden then and now
The West Orange Observer today had an article that featured a photo of downtown (Plant Street looking west) from 70 years ago; technology now (Google Street View) lets me sit here and capture almost the same view!
