We’ve had a few wild Turkey visits recently (March, June, August) but today while I was at work, a “swarm” of up to NINE wild Turkeys came, wandering our back garden as well as next door – and Margaret was ready with a camera!
Chloe continues to bring “gifts” home, a couple a week – and today astonishingly looks more like a pet than a wild (ex)creature! I suppose genes for black, white, stripes, etc, had to be present, for people to be able to breed them in to pets …

This (long) weekend is Gloucester’s Schooner Festival and we headed down this morning to see the Schooners – but found only one (the others presumably are off sailing, or perhaps in The Mayor’s Race!)
But the one Schooner we found – The Peacemaker – was spectacular enough on it’s own – and it was open for (free) tours – so we got onboard and even saw inside!
