Gloucester has a lot of beaches – my favorite is Good Harbor Beach but today Margaret took us to Long Beach, which is tucked away on the way to Rockport (with limited parking to discourage visitors, apparently!):

The new bubbler in the pond is fighting against the cold; some of the bubbles it creates are freezing into little ice domes!
Carcicle?
Yesterdays rain & sun turned back to rain, then snow overnight as the temperature cooled – but even though it’s stayed below freezing today, the sun still shone strongly, melting the snow off the car – but the water froze again as it dripped off the bumper, forming icicles between the car and the ground!
