Up at the reservoir the snow coats the lightly frozen water and “ices” the rocks:
We were predicted to have a blizzard today with 12-18″ of snow; it sounds pretty serious but so far it’s a bit of a let down round here!
We woke to windows spattered with snow and howling wind! Outside there are places where the snow comes up over my wellingtons – it took some effort to push my way out the front door for example; but also places with almost no snow at all – look at the top of the sundial.
