Reminding us that Winter continues through the new year, a storm rolled in late last night, snowing all day today, and supposedly continuing through tomorrow too! Since we didn’t want to stay shut in for two days, we walked down to the Post Office this morning; then we cleared the 3″ or so from the paths, driveway and cars – but of course it’ll all come back again (right now, 7 hours later, there’s another 1″ or so) …
Chloe has done a whole lot of not going outside today – this morning the high temperature was 27f (-3c) and icy strong winds blowing all day have dragged it down to 12f (-11c) right now! Brrr …
Instead Chloe stayed warm and comfy indoors, adopting a cozy corner of the guest bed:
“Warm” overnight heavy rain, bringing the temperature up to about 50f, has basically washed away all the Snow – till the next time, at least!
