We headed over to Carmel today to see the Concours D’Elegance cars parked down the street, while their owners enjoy lunch – and it was worth the trip, though I don’t know the history of most of these car brands!
In Monterey (California) for MINI Takes The States, but the MINI stuff doesn’t start till tomorrow evening so today Margaret & I toured the area, driving 17 Mile Drive.
The weather this morning was surprisingly cool, due to winds off the Pacific Ocean and fog (till lunchtime) blocking the sun – the high here today was below 70, while back in Massachusetts, Sheila & Paul enjoyed high 80s!

As posted earlier, there is a MINI Mobile Assistance vehicle prepared for MINI Takes The States … Quack Quack Jack recently inspected the vehicle to ensure all was well, and offered his assistance during the drive 🙂
