What MINIsOnTop is all about

Did you register for MINIsOnTop? You have to mail your registration by tomorrow! It’s too late now to sign up for the drive to the top of Mount Washington at the end of the day – but there’s loads of other fun to be had with over 200 MINIs and their enthusiastic owners / partners / families …

Josh Wardell has just put up a wonderful gallery of pictures from MOT2006; if you’re unsure just what MINIsOnTop is all about, head over to his gallery and get the full flavour 🙂

Some of my favourite pics:
Many MINIs at Loon
The little Minis
Red Bull
Climbing Mount Washington
On Top

And a whole heap of great pics from the Observatory Tour (MOT registrants will receive an announcement about this in the next couple of weeks)

Thanks, Josh – even if they are a little late 😉

Night Spoke

After seeing the new Sidewalk MC convertible recently, I’ve now seen the “night spoke” wheels, special on the Sidewalk MCS convertible:

Curiously, I like them less in person than in pictures! I had tried to get them as my GP winter wheels (because the coloring is similar to the GP wheel), but now I’m glad I didn’t – they look too “flowery”.
Apparently I’m not the only one that doesn’t like them – another Sidewalk MCS convertible there had different 17″ wheels on it …
