Remembering Dan

A group of about 10 MINIs (and a Honda Civic!) headed up to Raymond, NH today to remember Dan, and “visit” with his family – I think we were appreciated, and it helped us to be together at this sad time …

Today I realized a picture that I’d had from the 2003 MINI meander had Dan smiling in his car as the second in line; I took this picture and with Steve’s help presented it to his family.

We finished our day at one of Dans favourite restaurants, KCs Ribs in Manchester NH; good food, great company!

Goodbye Dan – Have A Great Day

Sadly, another great MINI friend passed away overnight: Dan McDonald.

The title might seem strange for such a sad day, but Dan was a happy-go-lucky guy who loved MINIs and his MINI friends, regularly joined MINI events and was always ready to help – and he always signed his emails with “Have A Great Day”.

The first time I met Dan, at MINIsOnTop 2003; since then I’ve seen him on many MINI events and always enjoyed his company …
