Disney Magic Kingdom New Fantasyland preview

Disney is working hard to create a New Fantasyland area at Magic Kingdom, and much of it is now close enough to be previewed – we saw the new Enchanted Tales with Belle, Under The Sea – Journey of the Little Mermaid, and ate at the excellent Be Our Guest restaurant. Here’s some pictures:

Manatees

On the way back to 8002 from Sanibel, we followed signs to Manatee Viewing which took us to a nice viewing area next to a power station on the Gulf Coast south of Tampa – and we saw LOADS of Manatees there!

The viewing area was free, lovely, and filled with Manatees, due to the 8+ degree warmer water from the power station outflow. A recommended destination …

Sanibel wildlife

We’re visiting English family on Sanibel Island, and joined them on a driving & walking tour around various Sanibel wildlife reserves. Lots of birds, water – and the occasional turtle and alligator!
