Vacation

Originally when we left Las Vegas, we planned to head to Bryce Canyon, but the weather was cold there, so we went to Zion instead. But today, it was warmer at Bryce, so we drove over there – and it was well worth the trip, with snow everywhere still but strong sun making it feel warm; and of course amazing views.

When we arrived at Zion National Park, we were able to drive the tour roads (from April you have to park and use a tour bus), and also take a 3 mile hike up around the canyon – all very spectacular!

This morning we left Las Vegas, and headed North East from Nevada into Arizona and then into Utah … we were headed to Zion National Park, but the drive was nearly as spectacular as the destination!
