There’s so much incredible scenery in Iceland but it’s dominated by the volcanic mountains – both the peaks, and the basalt rocks that they’ve created. Also, a “tear” through the center of the country, caused by the tectonic plates pulling apart. Here’s another amazing collection of photos!
Our Iceland trip started and ended with time in Reykjavik, a very beautiful but rapidly changing city. Very walkable, although cool for us Florida folks, and so much to see with interesting buildings, sculptures, “art graffiti”, water front, and more. On our visit to Stanton Estates today, we found stairs as well as a fully covered roof!
And stairs gave us our first view of my future office space:
We spoke to site supervisor Alexy, and learned that the next week should bring windows, interior framing, and the beginning of plumbing and a/c ducting!
