Chloe has recently taken to laying upside down next to me on the chair, so that I may stroke her chest and tummy – amazingly she’ll do it as long as I’m prepared to, and at no time does she attack with her back legs and claws! It’s not elegant, but she’s happy …
When I got home from my morning walk today and readied to feed Chloe, I found a frog in her water bowl! Chloe must have caught it and brought it in, some time in the night (she has cat doors so she can go in and out whenever she wants); it was still quite alive and made a run for it when i got close – so Chloe had a second chance at chasing it:
The little frog could jump a couple feet so it took a bit of work to catch, but it’s back out in the wild now.
Actually we have two sofas in the front “formal living room”, and Chloe likes both of them, at various times! She has always preferred to lean rather than just sit! But apparently, she forgot for a while:
