GBMINI stereo – Tweeter apologizes

I am pleased to say that the Audio Install Manager at Tweeter Nashua just contacted me (I had written to the Regional Manager last week which maybe had an effect). They apologized again for the problems, and for the fact that when I picked the car up the amp had not been reinstalled.
They have decided to refund me the cost of the Dynamat, which originally they would not do since they could not remove it from the car. They also found an extra item which had been missed from the refund paperwork when I collected my car.
So I guess they did “do the right thing” in the end. It is unfortunate that they were unable to successfully complete a stereo installation in my car – from other peoples posts it might be tricky to get an MCS install to work but it is not impossible.

On a happier note I was looking through Gabe Bridgers super pictures of his road trip to Utah and it reminded me of some pictures I took when we were in Utah last month. Of course we did not have a MINI, but driving the Mount Nebo Scenic Byway (south of Salt Lake City off I15) was gorgeous – it would have been wonderful in a MINI:
