Tritec link (MINI engine manufacturers)
An interesting link was posted today, to the manufacturers of the engine in the MINI Cooper (S) … Tritec Motors; the Diesel engine (not available in USA) is sourced from Toyota, and there are rumours that when the contract expires between Tritec & BMW, MINIs will get a French built engine instead.
MINIsOnTop 2004 planning
MINIs On Top 2004 – the planning continues!
Although it is still 2003, plans for next year proceed. The date, 19th June 2004, is set. There will be more than one drive – a long one from Bar Harbor to the mountain, as well as a repeat of the Kancamagus drive, and perhaps others if popular.
Info on this years and next years runs can be found at MINIsOnTop; active discussions of next years plans are occurring on this MINI2 thread.
See you there …
