Today I got up at 6:15am (really early for me!) and headed off into Boston for the Big Dig Tunnel Run, starting at Krispy Kreme:
The event was organized by Richard (“rfinprc”) on MINI2, and we had between 20 and 30 MINIs show up! The drive took us from Krispy Kreme over the new Lennie Zakim bridge, through the tunnels, around Logan Airport, and along Storrow Drive to breakfast at IHOP:
After breakfast we headed out through Concord along many winding roads (pleasantly devoid of traffic), stopping along the way for a group picture (the temperature was zero fahrenheit when we started, rising to about 10f by the end of the drive):
We totalled about 60 miles on the run, and on the way back I broke through 12K!
