I have been debating when to “celebrate” the “birthday” of GBMINI – there is the week it was built, when it arrived on US soil, when it arrived at the dealership or when I collected it – but I have chosen February 14, which is when I first saw GBMINI.
So today, one year on, the weather was nice enough that I could give GBMINI a wash, for a comparison picture with a year ago:

To be totally honest I have still not noticed significant differences from the JCW upgrade! I think there is definitely more torque at higher revs, but I just don’t drive up at 4500+rpms enough to use that improvement (yet, anyway).
I think I need to “play” more …
We have the same birthday! I took delivery of Bruiser on Feb 14, 03 — but since I didn’t order, I didn’t follow its entire birthing process. I like that it’s on Valentines Day — I like to say it was the perfect day to begin a love affair.
Bruiser is an IB/B ’03 MC.
