I just collected the 92 auto-up-windows MINI circuits built for me by CMS in New Hampshire (it was a nice day for a drive!)
So I can now contact the people on my list, and see who is really interested in a circuit to auto-close windows when the switch is double-clicked, disable DSC every time the car is started, or control their garage door opener from the door lock toggle switch …
Who is really interested? I am! The funds are on the way! 🙂
One day later. 15 circuits shipped. 4 garage door opener versions built ready to be shipped next week. 10 more people saying a check is on the way!
Thank you all – good to provide something people want 🙂
Got the auto-up circuit yesterday and it works great.
I tried to install w/o removing the downtubes but i think i mis-aligned the connection to the back of the switch panel because it was doing weird stuff (pass. window down switch was locking doors, driver windows down switch was putting the window up). Once i took the dash apart and had the switch panel where i could easily see it, everything worked like a charm.
thanks ian.

Yes … trying to align the connector without being able to see the toggle switch panel is tricky – I missed the first time yesterday and I have done it a few times! But it should not be possible to damage anything, and a successful install can take much less time than downtube removal.
