On Friday afternoon I headed south through the (slow) Boston traffic to Falmouth, Cape Cod, to meet Steve (“Cape Cod Mini”) and other MINI owners and join in the Headlights For Lighthouses event.
Friday evening six MINIs got together for a group photo, and then an enjoyable evening of food and chat (GBMINI, Ed/MaxaMini, BobbieJ, Steve/CapeCodMini, Rick & Laurie / ActualSize, John); Saturday morning some of us headed up to a Honey Dew Donuts near the Bourne bridge, and met more arriving MINIs including Diane, down from Maine – then back to Falmouth to join the lighthouse event:
Then off we headed to the first Lighthouse of the day:
From there we headed all the way around Cape Cod to Provincetown; we did not reach the lighthouse there, but we did put on an entertaining parade through the town center to much approval from pedestrians we passed:
